Picked up Pat at his hotel in SoPo at 0800. Launched the boat by 0830. Day started out nice but as it progressed the wind picked up to 25kt gusts. We worked a ton of locations and covered 40+ miles and didn’t even get a follow. Pat worked multiple lures and soaked some bait. On top of that we got our butts kicked on the way home in 3-5’ steep seas. Funny year with lots of bait around and hot and cold fishing. Maybe the fish are too well fed.
